Quantum Ventures announces first successful exit of its venture-building fund

Look up at the stars and not down at your feet. Try to make sense of what you see, and wonder about what makes the universe exist.

By Quantum Ventures Team

Four years ago we started working closely with our anchor sponsor Bakrie & Brothers to build innovative companies in industries that shape the future of Indonesia, leveraging the group’s strong DNA in heavy industries and commitment to energy transition. Our main conviction in the energy transition is reflected in the two flagship companies of our portfolio, VKTR and Helio, which operate in the EV and renewable energy sectors, respectively.

Today, we announced the first exit of our $30m inaugural fund. VKTR will list at the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on June 19, 2023. As a long-time partner of Transjakarta, VKTR’s buses are serving millions of Greater Jakarta residents, and we look forward to supporting more electrification initiatives across the nation. VKTR plans to expand its electric mobility offerings for different modes of transport, including two-wheelers, among many exciting plans we have for the future.

At Quantum Ventures, we remain dedicated to building great companies with bold entrepreneurs, supported by our extensive network and access to leading global startups in our target verticals. We are committed to supporting our portfolio companies through all stages of growth with our capital, operating expertise, and connections to key ecosystem players such as government, investors, and key talents.
